Coming up next on VoiceBox: Prodigal Talent -- On forging a career as a promising young singer

Friday, October 29, 2010

Everyone loves a child prodigy story. But the careers of young singers have to be carefully nurtured in order for their voices to survive in the long haul. On the upcoming edition of VoiceBox, the acclaimed lyric soprano Danielle de Niese joins VoiceBox host Chloe Veltman in the studio for a discussion about how young singers can launch successful careers…and maintain them without going the way of Julie Andrews of Britney Spears.

The program airs this Friday, November 5, from 10-11pm at 91.7 fm. Or listen anytime via the on demand online music player at kalw.org.
